AMH is a marker of ovarian reserve, giving an indication of the number of eggs remaining in the ovaries. While AMH levels naturally decline with age, low levels can suggest fertility challenges, while elevated levels may point to conditions like PCOS. Oestradiol, another vital hormone, helps regulate the menstrual cycle and impacts egg maturation, alongside playing a role in broader health aspects like mood and bone density.

Hertility Health was founded in 2019 by Dr. Helen O’Neill, Dr. Natalie Getreu, and Deirdre O’Neill. They saw gaps in how women's health, particularly fertility and hormonal issues, were being addressed, and wanted to provide more accessible and affordable solutions.
